Seven Counties Services is a Community Mental Health Center that offers a full range of mental and behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment, and intellectual and developmental disabilities services in a seven-county region in Kentucky. Seven Counties Services also offers the Crisis Prevention and Response Program, a person-centered, short-term response for individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and are experiencing a behavioral or psychiatric crisis. The overall goal is to provide immediate and intensive support to help individuals stay in their homes and communities and avoid hospitalization.
Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: 988
Dial or text 988 if you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide or experiencing a mental health crisis and get connected to a trained crisis counselor who will listen empathetically and without judgment. Whether in current crisis, or at risk of being in crisis, the 988 Lifeline is also a preventative service. Once connected, a crisis counselor will work to ensure you feel safe and help identify options and information about mental health services in your area.
