Child Mental Health Community-Based Services
IHOPE
The first episode of psychosis is when a person experiences the symptoms of a mental illness, such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Brief Psychotic Disorder, among other disorders. As a result, the time after these episodes can be very frightening, confusing, and distressing. IHOPE supports these individuals aged 15-30 using evidence-based practices and services such as psychoeducation, family education, supported employment, peer support, safety planning, case management, occupational therapy, and outreach services.
KY Impact Services
KY Impact services deliver intensive family-based services for youth with emotional disabilities and/or substance abuse. These services include case management, medication management, and in-home services for individuals, groups, and families. Case managers can provide these community, family, and peer support services at home, school, or a Seven Counties Services location. A smooth transition into adulthood is more likely by ensuring strong coordination between all children serving systems, including educational, legal, medical, social, and behavioral health.
School-Based Services
Seven Counties Services works with schools across Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties to provide ongoing therapy to students to improve attendance, behavioral skills, social skills, and academic achievement. Seven Counties Services also partners with schools to provide additional behavioral health and substance use resources.

TAYLRD (Transitional Age Youth Launching Realized Dreams)
TAYLRD is a drop-in center for youth between the ages of 16-26 that works to reduce barriers for young people by providing specialized services and support. TAYLRD offers mental health services, including case management, community support, peer support, medication management, and homelessness support. A life skills group, leadership development training, and assistance accessing benefits such as SNAP and Section 8 are available as additional resources. Western Day Treatment
The Western Day Treatment Program provides intensive therapeutic services to children with severe emotional disturbances (SED). The program is a collaboration between Seven Counties Services and the Jefferson County Public School System. Children, grades K – 5th, receive academic instruction; individual, family, collateral, and group therapy; targeted case management and psychiatric services; and a variety of assessment measures during an average 6-9 month stay. Coordination and consultation between the family, mental health providers, and the school system provide the child and their family with a seamless set of wrap-around services.
