The Hope Center Wins the 2023 Community Behavioral Health Award for Compassion
On September 14th, Seven Counties Services hosted its Annual Dinner. It’s a time to gather and recognize our leadership, board of directors, donors, volunteers, outstanding employees, and award community partners with four Community Behavior Health Awards displaying our values of Compassion, Intentionality, Resilience, and Equity.
With great pleasure, we’re proud to announce the 2023 Compassion Award was presented to The Hope Center!
The Community Behavioral Health Award for Compassion is bestowed upon individuals or organizations who have demonstrated exceptional empathy, understanding and care for those facing mental health, substance use, and/or developmental disability challenges. The Hope Center was awarded the Compassion Award for continuously improving health outcomes and fostering a supportive environment for individuals struggling with behavioral health issues.
Through a collaboration with local service providers and nonprofit organizations, the Hope Community Center is a centralized site where individuals can access services such as employment and career assistance, substance abuse treatment and recovery support, Veteran’s resources, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, and a variety of utility and financial assistance programs.
Brenda Fox, the Executive Director of the Tri-County Community Action Agency, which operates The Hope Center, joined us at the Annual Dinner to accept the 2023 Compassion Award. “The Tri-County mission statement tagline states, ‘Changing lives, Changing community,’ and we’re honored to be the receipt of this year’s Compassion Award,” said Brenda. “The term compassion is a true depiction of all of those who have generously given their time, experience, and funds to make this project a success! We humbly thank Seven Counties Services for the recognition of a community coming together to change lives.”
